Pot-limit poker is a variation of the game, which allows players to bet or raise the amount of the pot. Pot-limit games typically place a limit on how much can be bet, and also on the number of times a player can raise.

Unlike other vying games, the bluffing aspect of poker is the key feature. Although players are not obligated to make a bet, they are often compelled to do so.
